Tangy Chicken Breast Easy Recipe

Tangy Chicken

 2 lbs Chicken Breast
 2 Oranges
 ½ cup sweet and sour sauce
 2 cups Water
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 ¼ cup sugar
 ½ cup distilled white vinegar
 2 ¼ cups self-rising flour
 1 tsp chicken seasoning
 2 tbsp vegetable oil
 ½ tsp salt
 ¼ tsp black pepper
 1 Egg (Optional)
 1 Onion
 1 Green bell pepper
 ½ cup Ketchup
 1 tbsp Dry parsley

Preparation

Step 1
Wash boneless chicken with vinegar, then
Season  chicken with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Combine flour, seasoning and chicken season in a bowl.
Add egg to another bowl  and whisk. Add chicken pieces to egg mixture,  then to flour and stir until chicken is well coated.

Step 3
Heat oil in skillet or frying pan. Fry chicken pieces in hot oil 10 minutes, or until golden. Remove chicken, and drain on paper towels.

Step 4
In a saucepan, add the chopped onion and bell pepper and let sauté. Add chicken to that . In a bowl  combine  sugar, vinegar,  oranges, soy sauce, sweet and sauce and ketchup, then mix, add this to the chicken and  bring to a boiling for about 5 mins . Remove for heat serve and garnish with dry parsley.
